To understand how removal of unwanted hair works, you need to understand hair growth and how to get the best results.
The growth cycle of a hair follicle consists of 3 stages:
1. Anagen - Growing Stage
2. Catagen - Resting Stage
3. Telogen - Shedding Stage
For the IPL Laser to work thoroughly it is best when the hair follicle is in an Anagen or growing state (this is when the hair is attached to its blood supply). In other words its when the hair is in its most healthiest and darkest stage.
Intervals between Laser treatments can be anything from 4 to 10 weeks depending on the area and the time it grows back. This differs from person to person, however treatments should NOT be done sooner than 4 weeks for best results.
